Apple Just Made Pages, Numbers, and Keynote Even Better

I wanted to share something helpful for those of us who use Pages, Numbers, or Keynote to get things done. Apple just released version 14.4 of all three apps, and the updates are focused on making your everyday work easier and more efficient. Whether you are creating documents, working with spreadsheets, or building a presentation, there is something new here that you will want to check out.

Before we dive into the updates, I’ll tell you how I personally use these tools. I use them for planning my overlanding and camping trips. I keep my gear checklists in Numbers, map out routes and itineraries in Pages, and sometimes even use Keynote to create fun little slide decks to share with my partner. We both use Apple devices, so being able to edit and share everything between us in real time is a game changer.

What’s New in Each App

Pages 14.4

  • Screen View on iPad: This new feature makes documents fit better on your iPad. Everything flows naturally, so reading and editing is more comfortable.

  • Writing Tools Integration: You can now edit text right inside your documents with smart suggestions from Apple Intelligence. It is like having a little editor that helps you polish things up without needing to open another app.

Numbers 14.4

  • New Functions: You now get over 30 new functions like LET, LAMBDA, FILTER, SORT, and UNIQUE. This makes organizing gear lists, fuel planning, and budgets much easier and way more flexible.

  • Spilling Arrays: This lets one formula fill in multiple cells. It simplifies your spreadsheet setup and cuts down on errors.

Keynote 14.4

  • Writing Tools Built In: Now you can edit the text in your slides directly. It is great when you want to prep something visual for your trips, like an itinerary or a simple slideshow with maps and timing for each leg of the adventure.

Final Thoughts

These new features are actually useful. Whether you're working on a professional document or organizing your next camping adventure, this update will make things smoother and faster.
